Ellie and Walter are pretty good buddies, as long as he's not barking. Sometimes his sudden outbursts scare her, but most of the time she likes having him around. Lately she crawls to the back door and cries when we don't go outside. She loves watching Walter run around the backyard. She has started feeding him her food, unfortunately. We had just got him to a point where he would lay down a safe distance away from the table while she ate, but now she holds her hand out for him and he sneaks licks when my back is turned. Ellie also loves to give Walter his toys, even if he doesn't want them. Today she kept following him around the living room dropping his toys in front of him. She's definitely spoiling him.
Aside from scaring her with his boisterous bark and occasionally trying to nip Ellie when John's running around the house with her, Walter does pretty well with Ellie. He lets her climb all over him, poke his face, and tug his ears. It's fun to watch these 2 grow up together. Some times it's frustrating having a dog and a baby at the same time, especially when Walter steals her pacifier, but overall I'm glad they can grow up being best buddies.
Oh and sometimes she likes to crawl into his crate.
This is adorable!! Her laugh is so contagious and Walter is huge. Or, at least, he looks huge. I love everything about this post. :)
