Missouri- Monson Family Reunion

In June we flew to St. Louis for a family reunion with my family. We went to the Lake of the Ozarks. It rained the first 2 days, so there was a lot of hanging out in the cabins. We rented a boat and went boating on a beautiful sunny day. I hadn't been tubing in years! It was a lot of fun, but we were all pretty sore the next day. I could barely move my neck. It was a lot of fun to spend time with family and the see the grandkids play with each other. The 3 older boys were constantly running around. Ellie was intimidated by all the movement. She was pretty shy the whole time and only really started warming up to everyone towards the end. Hopefully at the next reunion she will be less shy.

Ellie loved the playground by the cabins.

We went to Ha Ha Tonka State Park. At the turn of the century a wealthy man built a big house which later burnt down, so you can walk around the ruins of the house. It was very reminiscent of Jane Eyre.
